Bettie Butcher is an Australian based professional Pinup/Alternative/fetish model with over 4000 fans online. 1st place winner of the Pinup Pageant at The Sydney Tattoo and Body Art Expo 2010, and 1st place winner of the Miss Ink Australia Competition 2010. This has also secured Bettie a position as a regular model for the fashion shows at the Sydney and Melbourne Tattoo Expos, as well as host for Miss Ink Australia and other alternative fashion events. Bettie never would have thought she would end up being a model, she grew up as a tomboy in Brisbane working on cars with her brother and father. Then had a brief rollerderby career which introduced her to many of Brisbanes beautiful tattooed ladies, giving her the confidence to persue her love of tattoos. The stigma that you have to be a tomboy or a rough chick to have tattoos was now broken to Bettie as she learned that you can still get covered in your favourite artwork but still be a proud, femine, strong lady and even a rolemodel. With modelling, she was discovered back in 2005 at a Brisbane Rockabilly festival, Greazefest and nothing has held her back since, expanding from classic pinup, into more exciting genres such as Latex and burlesque shoots. Winning the title of Miss Pinup, Sydney Tattoo Expo, and Miss Ink Australia has expanded her modelling career into regular trips around Australia and even recently to the USA, where Bettie was lucky enough to work with LA's finest photographer, Shannon Brooke Imagery.
